GOULIN IMPLANTES EN NOUVELLE-ZELANDE - GOULIN SETTLED IN NEW-ZEALAND

Tous les GOULIN vivants aujourd'hui en Nouvelle-Zélande sont issus de James Arthur Laurence GOULIN, officier de la marine anglaise né en décembre 1889 à Sheppey dans le Kent (GB) venu s'installer en Nouvelle Zélande vers 1930.

Son père était James GOULIN également officier de la marine royale né à Inverness en Ecosse (GB) et sa mère appartient à la célèbre généalogie des Blayney. Il est cité dans le journal des débats de 1891 du parlement britanique (Hansard's Parliamentary Debates) comme marin et quartier-maître d'un navire de sa majesté.

James Arthur GOULIN et Virginia Johanna BLAYNEY se sont mariés le 25 août 1884 à Sheppey (Kent).

Tous ces GOULIN sont probablement les descendants de Thomas GOULIN qui vivait au 18e siècle dans le Nortumberland (GB) et des GOULIN d'origine écossaise.

All the GOULIN living in New-Zealand have one only ancestor : James Arthur Laurence GOULIN, British Navy Officer born in december 1889 at Sheppey in Kent (GB) who settled in this country about 1930.

His father was James GOULIN also Royal Navy Officer born at Inverness, Scotland (GB) and his mother belong to the famous genealogy of Blayney. He is named in the Hansard's Parliamentary Debates (1891) as seamen and quartermaster of Her Majesty's ship.

James Arthur GOULIN and Virginia Johanna BLAYNEY married the 25th of august 1884 at Sheppey (Kent).

All those GOULIN are probably filiated with Thomas GOULIN who lived in the Northumberland in the 18th century and also filiated with scottish GOULIN.
